About The Colour Commission Director

Jacqueline Bosscher, Director of The Colour Commission, has a passion for clothes, good design and the arts. Growing up in Sydney, London and Paris, she has been influenced by the incredibly diverse and enormously creative fashion, art, design and architecture of these vibrant cities.

Jacqueline started The Colour Commission in 2008. Currently studying for an Advanced Diploma in Interior Design, she plans for The Colour Commission to be a hub of inspiration and information on the effect of colour in a design context. Through colour consultancy, bespoke seasonal shopping guides tailored to clients’ needs and a constantly up-dated style blog, The Colour Commission will invigorate thinking around innovative use of colour, texture, form and materials on the body and in architectural space.

Having worked as a Curator for 10 years in the field of contemporary art in Australia, working with artists and performers such as Mike Parr, Jonathan Jones, Brook Andrew, Bronia Iwanczak, and Tess de Quincey, as well as the Biennale of Sydney, her great eye for composition, understanding of artistic processes and skills in exhibition design give her an edge in the fields of personal styling and interior design.
